This page describes the privacy policy currently in place for ScenePainter and the ScenePainter website.

Webserver logs

The webserver logs each page request as it is customary for the Apache webserver. The logged information includes:

  • IP address
  • Timestamp
  • Requested URI
  • Referrer
  • User Agent

The webserver logs are used for troubleshooting and internal statistics. Logs are rotated monthly and are not made available to third parties.

SCC files

ScenePainter stores scenes in SCC files which can be uploaded to and shared on this website. Technically, an SCC is just a ZIP archive (and can be opened as such). It contains at least the scene's model and optionally a set of meta properties. It does not contain the edit history of a scene.
Meta properties may be used for filing purposes.

Cookies

This website uses cookies. Cookies are needed for establishing a session ("logging in").

Third Party Cookies

Some pages on this website may contain banner ads from ad networks which may set cookies.
